ROTARY DRYER PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

PREVENTION MAINTENANCE PROGRAM INFORMATION

Precision Rotary Equipment is pleased to announce that a Preventative Maintenance Program is now available to its valued clients. This initiative provides for scheduled inspections of your processing plant to identify potential problems well before they occur.

This service includes a full report following each specialist inspection that comments on the mechanical reliability of the equipment specified in the agreement. When there is an inspected item nearing the end of its service life, we will prioritize the urgency and work with you to arrange for servicing this item during your planned maintenance periods.

Precision Rotary Equipment understands that untimely failures are not only costly to your business but impact on your production targets. We work with you to identify the problems before they occur.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE STEPS

Below are the next steps that we can take to get your customized Preventative Maintenance Program started.

  • A representative from PRE will sit down with the appropriate client personnel to discuss current and past issues they have had with their rotary equipment. After these interviews PRE will put together a preventative maintenance plan and present that to you.
  • PRE will contract with you to perform inspections prior to each shutdown. The inspection will also include a cataloguing of your current inventory.

Following each visit a full written report with pictures is furnished covering the following:

  • Recommendations on repairs
  • Where there are obvious signs of needed repair, these are graded according to their extent of failure and overall significance to the client’s process. For example a worn trunnion bearing would have a higher significance (grading) than say exhaust ducting that is showing early signs of corrosion. The failure of the trunnion could expose the plant to many days of outage and considerable costs.

The grading system comprises of 3 options.

  • High -priority requiring immediate attention
  • Medium priority – attention required within 2 months
  • Low priority – continue to monitor and repair at plant shutdown.

Inventory requirements for plants including price and lead times

Added benefits of the PMP

  • Hourly rate for the repair work reduced by 10%
  • Priority access to our 24 hour emergency response team
